Vandals continue to cause problems for farm equipment north of Regina.

Southey RCMP said last week they are investigating a case of sugar found in the gas tank of a New Holland combine.

The incident was discovered Oct. 16 in a field southwest of Cupar.

This is the same area where Fort Qu’Appelle RCMP earlier this fall reported that someone was placing cultivator shovels under swaths in order to cause damage to combines.

At this time, RCMP say there is no evidence to suggest the incidents are related.

Anyone with information should contact Southey RCMP or local police. Those who wish to remain anonymous can contact Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477. Crime Stoppers may pay up to $2,000 if the information leads to an arrest.
