Saskatchewan companies will have their largest presence ever at Agritechnica in Germany next week.

Twenty-four Saskatchewan agricultural equipment companies will be part of a western Canadian mission to the Nov. 10-16 show in Hanover.

Economy minister Bill Boyd is joining the trip and will also be meeting with mining and oil and gas companies while in Europe.

“Saskatchewan’s dryland farming technology is recognized as among the very best in the world,” he said in a news release. “Our presence at Agritechnica is a proven and natural opportunity to make new connections in the global marketplace and seek even more export destinations for our made-in-Saskatchewan products, reinforcing our provincial economy here at home.”

The Saskatchewan Trade and Export Partnership is leading the trade trip and says it has the potential to secure up to $75 million in sales agreements and more than 300 new export leads.
