Chad and Darlene Krikau of Waldheim have been chosen Saskatchewan’s Outstanding Young Farmers.

The couple was selected from among five nominees and announced as the winners at Canada’s Farm Progress Show in Regina today.

The couple and their two children, Liam and Kalyna, operate Stream Stick Farms, a grain operation of 2,630 acres. They have been farming since 1995, when Chad first rented 110 acres from his father.

The Krikauses will represent the province at the national OYF competition being held this year during Canadian Western Agribition in November.
