Sask. legislative session opens tomorrow

The fourth session of the 26th Saskatchewan legislature opens tomorrow with the speech from the throne.

Lt. gov. Gordon Barnhart will read the speech at about 2 p.m. after an outdoor ceremony in front of the legislative building that includes a 15 gun salute, 15 Wing fly past and a royal salute.

The fall sitting will run until Dec. 9 and then adjourn until the spring sitting begins in March. This session is the last before the next provincial election scheduled for Nov. 7, 2011.
