RCMP are reminding farmers to document serial numbers of devices such as GPS units after several were stolen from tractors in southwestern Saskatchewan.

The RCMP said the devices taken were valued from $3,000 to $11,500.

Farmers should put a unique marking on the device, such as engraving a name on the cover, to help identify it if it is stolen and recovered.

Swift Current RCMP are investigating the thefts.
