There were only modest movements in crop markets on Wednesday.
The weakening loonie supported canola as did a slow down in farmer selling.
After a wet cool start to the week on the Prairies, temperatures are rising and sunny weather should be the norm into early next week, encouraging a good pace of harvest.
New crop soybeans edged lower on expectations of a big crop.
Wheat edged slightly higher on hopes that crop problems in France will generate new demand for North American wheat and corn.

The federal government will invest $370 million in a new biofuel production incentive.
Generally, markets are limited by harvest in North America and a report out of Australia of a bigger than expected wheat and canola crop.
Also, although officials in Canada and China say they are close to a solution to the black leg-dockage issue, the lack of details keeps the canola market slightly on edge.
Light crude oil nearby futures in New York were down $1.32 to US$43.58 per barrel.
The Canadian dollar at noon was US75.82 cents, down from 75.95 cents the previous trading day. The U.S. dollar at noon was C$1.3189.
The Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index rose 17.36 points, or 0.12 percent, at 14,366.46.
Optimism about sales of the new iPhone lifted Apple shares, which helped to lift U.S. stock indexes.
The Dow Jones industrial average ended down 31.98 points, or 0.18 percent, to 18,034.77, the S&P 500 fell 1.25 points, or 0.06 percent, to 2,125.77 while the Nasdaq Composite rose 18.52 points, or 0.36 percent, to 5,173.77.
