MOSCOW, Nov 27 (Reuters) – Kazakhstan’s exports of grain and flour have totalled 3.2 million tonnes since the start of the current marketing year on July 1, compared with 3.1 million tonnes in the same period of 2012, the Agriculture Ministry said on Wednesday.

October exports from Central Asia’s largest grain producer were almost double those of the pervious year, according to the ministry.

The country forecasts grain exports in the 2013/14 crop season at up to 10 million tonnes, up from 9.5 million tonnes, thanks to an expected bigger harvest, seen at 18.5-19 million tonnes by clean weight. (Reporting by Raushan Nurshayeva; Writing by Alessandra Prentice; Editing by Douglas Busvine)
