Forty-five segments of Saskatchewan highway remain affected by flooding today.

Highways spokesman Doug Wakabayashi said 18 of those segments were closed, including Highway 9 between Yorkton and Canora because the Whitesand River has gone over the bridge.

The highways ministry doesn’t expect water to go over the bridge on Highway 11 at Lumsden but continues to monitor the situation.

Water that closed the Trans-Canada Highway east of Regina has receded.
