Durum up, wheat down in latest port price report

Durum prices at port rose in the latest Agriculture Canada weekly price summary but spring wheat and canola were down.

The July 31 West Coast port price for No. 1 CW red spring wheat 13.5 percent protein was $303.61 per tonne, down $7.50 a tonne from where it was the week before. The St. Lawrence price for the same grade was $304.29, down $10.08.

As of July 31 the Agriculture Canada West Coast price for No. 1 durum 13 percent protein was $515.20, up $7.19 from the week before. The St. Lawrence 12 percent protein price was $550.43, down $2.57 from the week before.
