Durum down hard in latest port price report

Durum port prices fell hard in the latest Agriculture Canada weekly price summary, spring wheat was mixed and canola little changed.

As of April 3 the West Coast price for No. 1 durum 13 percent protein price was $536.21, down $26.63 and the St. Lawrence price fell to $481.99, down $18.74.

The West Coast price for No. 1 CW hard red wheat 13.5 percent protein was $330.13 per tonne, down $4.48 a tonne from where it was the week before. The St. Lawrence price was $335.02, up $4.79.

Canola at the West Coast was $447.45, up 45 cents.
