REGINA — CWB, Viterra and other  grain handlers have reached an agreement on wheat and barley deliveries on the Prairies and for port services, beginning Aug. 1.

Farmers that contract the CWB for deliveries in 2012 will be able to deliver grain to all Viterra facilities.

The CWB also announced handling agreements with Mission Terminal, West Central Road and Rail, Delmar Commodities, Linear Grain and Agro Source. These companies join Cargill and South West Terminal, which reached agreements with CWB earlier this year.

Look for more details on producer.com after Ian White and Gord Flaten of the CWB hold a news conference at 11 a.m. CST today.
