Candidates set in Sask. byelection

Five people are vying to replace Tim McMillan in the Saskatchewan constituency of Lloydminster in a Nov. 13 byelection.

McMillan, who represented the Saskatchewan Party, resigned to head the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers.

Officially nominated are: Luke Bonsan, Green Party; Wayne Byers, NDP; Randall Edge, P.C. Party of Saskatchewan; Darrin Lamoureux, Liberal; and Colleen Young, Saskatchewan Party.

Advance pools are open in Pierceland, Paradise Hill and Lloydminster from Nov. 6 through 10.

On Nov. 13, polls are open 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Central Time.
