Canadian Western Agribition today announced further details of changes to its commercial cattle program.

The Stock Exchange is designed to showcase the best working cattle in the industry.

New features include Bull Pen Alley, a multi-breed show of pens of three yearling bulls, and The Yards, a farm and ranch showcase that will include both cattle and “dry” displays to help market commercial programs.

The bull show will be formally judged; there will also be a people’s choice award.

The existing bred heifer, open replacements and feeder steer classes will remain part of the commercial show.

Agribition president Reed Andrew said the changes are meant to bring in more cattle, spectators and business.
