New Versatile tracked tractor

Versatile has launched a new tracked tractor, the Delta Track. The Greek symbol for a triangle is the delta, a match for the shape of things to come from Versatile this summer. Four deltas, one for each corner of their new tractor.

In front of dealers in Palm Springs, Calif., Winnipeg-based Versatile released three models of its high-horsepower four-tracked tractor.

Wearing Camoplast tracks, a redesigned tractor chassis and the shared, heavily sloped hood of the Versatile power units, the DT450, DT500 and DT550 horsepower articulated tractors are powered by a common Cummins QSX 15 litre engine, running power to the drives through a Cat TA22 power shift transmission.
