Phoenix Systems of Bicknell, Utah, has developed the reverse brake bleeding system. The Maxpro is designed for professional use, the V12 for moderate use and the V12 DIY bleeder is designed for home users.

The handheld tool makes reverse brake bleeding affordable for hydraulic brakes and clutches.

It attaches to the bottom end of the brake system at the bleed screw on the slave cylinders and forces brake fluid, along with air, out of the system through the master cylinder.

The system makes the job of brake bleeding a one-person job and less messy, provided its handle isn’t squeezed too hard.

The company said that reverse bleeding combined with vacuum bleeding or forced bleeding through the master cylinder, using their system will eliminate more air from the system than any other method.

It also works with hydraulic clutches.
