Netherlands-based Agrifac invited dealers to its headquarters in that country at the end of September for a major announcement
The company also turned to the internet to livestream a portion of that event to farm journalists in all of its global market areas.
Agrifac announced the introduction of a “new generation” of self-propelled sprayers, consisting of three models: the Vanguard 55, Vanguard 67 and Endurance 80.

VIDEO: In the field with Case IH’s new flagship combine
Last February Case IH pulled the wraps off the largest, highest capacity combine it has ever developed — the AF11. This fall we went out to see it at work.
“By introducing this ‘new generation’, Agrifac strengthens its portfolio to meet the growing demand for sustainable, efficient and comfortable crop protection,” product manager Rens Albers said in the announcement.

“We are proud to present them at Agritechnica this November.”
The German farm show will see the first public display of the new sprayers, and the company says it will also eventually hold individual launch events in other markets, including in Canada. No specific dates have yet been announced for those.
The smallest of the three, the Vanguard 55, gets a 5,500 litre (1,453 gallon) tank and a 288 horsepower diesel. The Vanguard 67 gets a 6,700 litre (1,770 gallon) tank, and there is a 325 h.p. engine under its hood.
Both of those get adjustable track widths from 1.8 to 3.25 metres and under-body clearance from 1.25 to 1.45 metres.

The flagship model, Endurance 80, carries an 8,000 litre (2,113 gallon) tank for maximum capacity and gets power from an 8.9-litre Cummins, putting out 405 h.p. Track widths on this model are adjustable from two to 4.61 metres and under-body clearance hits 1.54 metres.
These new generation sprayers come with spray booms widths ranging from 24 to 55 metres (78.5 to 180 feet), depending on the model.
The narrowest tires available on the 55 and 67 are the 380/105R54s, but there are also 520/85R50s or floatation 710/75R42s.
The Endurance gets the same row-crop tires along with the option of 480/95R54 or 750/75R46.
Operators get to ride inside the X11 cab sourced from Claas, which incorporates Agrigac’s EcoTronic Plus3 control system.
