I would like to ask the proponents of the CWB just one simple question. Why are Ontario and Quebec not under the wonderful umbrella of the CWB?
I wonder if it is because it is an institution that jails its farmers and keeps their pockets empty. It is very strange that throughout this whole debate there has not been one peep out of them, who usually want to have what’s coming to them and a little more for good measure.
As a result, the acronym CWB becomes a misnomer. It should be called the Prairie Provinces Wheat Board or PPWB, so why don’t we just change it to CWBRIP?
