Steady heart

An article by Clare Rowson, MD in the Health Clinic column prompted me to write …. The article (Jan. 20, pg. 85) commented on factors and basic treatment for irregular heart beat.

More than 20 years ago I would have heart palpitations and as a result finally ended up at a specialist in Saskatoon checking me over…. His suggestion was to take an aspirin per day. So I did, but I learned that taking aspirin on a long-term basis was not desirable …. I asked my family doctor, who had been practicing in my hometown for about six months, what he would suggest. He said try 100-150 mg of magnesium, as it was connected with keeping a steady heart rhythm (something to do with electrical impulses). I did as he suggested and never had a problem since. I know of six other people who are having great success as well. I’m wondering where some doctors are?
