Autopsy done on Charolais

Canadian Western Agribition officials and the owner of a Charolais cow that died in its stall during the show are waiting for autopsy results.

Agribition chief executive officer Jason Pollock said a two-year-old cow died Nov. 26.

The animal was taken to Saskatoon for a post-mortem examination but results were not known beforeWestern Producerdeadlines Nov. 29.

“Once the autopsy results are known we can proceed with any action deemed necessary from an animal health perspective,” he said.
