CWB non-issue

A reminder to Preston Manning, the CWB was not an issue during the campaign, not even in his propaganda. Two thirds of the farmers in Western Canada assumed the barley vote had settled the issue.

They never dreamed that Manning would wait to get elected and then try to undermine democracy (the vote).

Manning’s anti-Quebec stand is what I believe got him a number of votes in the West. The amount of intolerance for Quebec is a disappointment to me.

Let’s hope that sleeping in Stornaway will rid Manning of his Humpty Dumpty ideas.
