Red River Valley farmers came out to welcome a new neighbor to town Aug. 18 when Paterson Grain officially opened its new 370,000-bushel capacity inland terminal near Morris, Man.
The new concrete facility will operate using three receiving and elevating legs, with a capacity of 15,000 bushels each.
The elevator will clean all deliveries to export standards or to other specifications Paterson’s international customers require, the company said in a news release.
It also includes a dual driveway system allowing two trucks to be unloaded at the same time.
The site will be serviced by CN Rail, with a 52-car spot and expansion capabilities up to 110 cars.
