WINNIPEG, Nov. 15 (CNS Canada) The Canadian dollar was slightly weaker Wednesday morning, with declines in crude oil putting some pressure on the energy-linked currency.
At 8:40 CST Wednesday morning the Canadian dollar was at US$0.7820 or C$1.2788 which compares with Tuesday’s North American close of US$0.7854 or C$1.2733.
There were no significant domestic economic releases on Wednesday. Investors will be watching developments in the NAFTA negotiations.
The TSX was steady at 8:40 CDT, at 15,913.13.
