Wednesday and Thursday could be rainy days over much of the Prairies with the largest accumulations in eastern Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
In many areas of the eastern Prairies where moisture has not been an issue this season, many farmers would prefer warm sunny weather to advance crops.
Many reseeded canola crops look good but are late and need many weeks of no frost to mature.
Forecasted temperature highs this week are mostly in the mid to low 20s.
The map from the U.S. Weather Prediction Center shows the expected accumulation, in inches, for the period from Wednesday to the end of Friday.
