Man. crops punch above their weight this year

Late season conditions appear to have given crops a boost as yields are higher than Statistics Canada’s earlier forecast

The Environment Canada weather station in Deerwood, Man., recorded 78 millimetres of rain from May 1 to July 31. Deerwood, near the town of Miami, is in south-central Manitoba.
