Direct seeding units
K-Hart Industries has introduced two new double disc direct-seeding units that can mount on a K-Hart two-row frame available in widths from nine to 18 metres (30 to 60 feet).
The three-quarter inch offset on the blade arrangement reduces hairpinning and provides better trash clearance.
The 2610 model is attached to the mainframe on a parallel linkage for up to eight 20 centimetres (eight in.) of vertical travel. Down pressure is adjustable between 80 to 600 pounds of force. Various blade configurations are available to penetrate residues and place seed in a firm V-shape seed bed.
