Quick chain saw adjustment
A quick change adjuster for chain saws, developed by Stihl, allows fingertip tensioning of the saw chain without using any tools. The operator turns the large lever in the centre of the sprocket cover (shown in the photo as A) and adjusts the chain tension by turning the adjustment wheel with his or her thumb (shown as B).
This optional accessory is now available on Stihl’s 017, 021, 023 and 025 chain saws, and can be added in minutes.

Floating tillage
The Concept 2000 air seeding and tillage system developed by Morris Industries has a patented frame coupling system that allows the frame sections to float independently. This feature, combined with a floating hitch, allows the unit to flex so it will maintain depth control and precise placement of seed and fertilizer.
The unit has the shortest contour length of any in the industry. Walking beam axles are designed for even ground following and clearance in heavy trash conditions.
Updated linkage ensures tires won’t gouge or dig when turning. A no-maintenance 755 trip assembly works well for both seeding and tillage, accepting a variety of seed and fertilizer boots or combination openers. An optional 400-pound spring cushion trip assembly is also available.
