Venture clarification
The price to control volunteer ce-reals in canola, sunflowers, legumes and creeping red fescue with Venture 25DG, Zeneca Agro’s new post-emergent herbicide, is $9.14 per acre.
The price to control grassy weeds such as wild oats, green foxtail, persian darnel and quackgrass is $16.25 per acre.
The Feb. 17 New Products column implied the cost of the higher rate was $9.14 per acre.

Frame for Conserva-Pak seeders
Valcon Equipment has recently introduced a new three-rank, 12-inch (30.5 centimetre) row space frame for its Conserva-Pak seeders. The new design features 108 inches of front-to-back frame depth and 36 in. of clearance between all shanks Accurate depth control is achieved through side-to-side and front-to-back leveling, positive mechanical depth stops and level lift for all settings.
Each frame is equipped with patented Conserva-Pak openers and is available in 20, 31, 37-foot widths in three frame sections and 51-ft. width in five frame sections. The 37-ft. frame can be expanded to 51 ft.
