Sweeps and spikes
Farm Land Specialty Products has introduced a new line of low disturbance chrome sweeps and spikes.
It also has a converter system to allow any c-shank to accept this line or McKay low-disturbance sweeps.
The manufacturer says high-chrome sweeps last up to 10 times longer than regular steel sweeps.
The converter system has one-side bolts, ensuring ease of removal. The operator can change from seeding to fertilizing without removing the seed boot, only the ground opener.

Hydraulic chute
Birch Creek Enterprises has introduced a hydraulic bison chute to complement its existing bison handling system.
The chute is 4.3 metres long by 2.1 m high (14 feet by seven feet.) It has swing-out doors for neck injections, split bottom doors and a palpatation cage at the back for protection of the operator.
It has double exits and a double-crowding bar. The squeeze is on a parallel axis, meaning it squeezes from both sides. The hydraulic head restraint bar pushes down on the back of the neck to restrain the animal.
