Irish manure injector
Greentrac shallow slurry injectors were developed for use in grassland and stubble and are available in three capacities: 2.0, 3.0 and 4.2 metres. They can be used in conjunction with a slurry tanker or with an irrigation hose reel system. The injection system overcomes many of the pollution, evaporation and run-off problems associated with surface applications of manure slurries. Banks of soil-slicing discs, positioned between depth-control slides, precede pivoted injection units.
Each unit has two hollow coulters that are fed by separate, flexible pipes from a hydraulic distribution valve capable of chopping fibre contained in the slurry. The working depths are 4-10 centimetres (1.6-3.9 inches) for the two smaller grassland models and 5-17.5 cm (2-6.8 in) for injecting stubble with the widest machine.

Rapid unloads
Hauser Machinery Ltd.’s bale skid is a modular, self-contained transport unit measuring 7.4 metres (24 feet). Bales are unloaded to one side of the trailer hydraulically. The skid works with a factory-supplied trailer or on a full-sized highway trailer. Units can be mounted in-line to allow for various trailer lengths. The bale skid allows quick unloading of round bales by one operator.
