VIDEO: Green Lightning and Nytro Ag win sustainability innovation award

Nytro Ag Corp and Green Lightning recieved an innovation award at Ag in Motion 2025 for the Green Lightning Nitrogen Machine, which converts atmospheric nitrogen into a plant-usable form.

The T630 handles 2,230 lb. and weighs 9,015 lb. The T650 will work with up to 2,570 lb. and weighs 9,440 lb.

The units have higher standard hydraulic operating flows and a 15 percent increase in hydraulic horsepower. As well, the standard auxiliary hydraulic flow is now 23 gallons per minute at 3,500 lb. per sq. inch with an optional high flow of 30.5 gallons per minute.

A new, removable hydraulic hose guide makes changing attachments easier and correctly routes the hoses, preventing wear.

The guide slides onto attachment hoses and is easily affixed to the loader during attachment hook-up. The operator does not have to twist or bend hoses.

Other features include a 15 to 20 percent increase in traction effort in the M-Series loaders to provide more pushing and digging power, holes for frame-mounted counterweights that increase lifting performance with certain attachments and a larger fuel capacity that allows the loader working longer between fueling.

New lighting improves night operation.

The new oil cooler swings up, allowing the operator to clean the area between the oil cooler and the radiator.

A bigger, more forward mounted cab allows for better viewing of attachments at work.

Self-propelled sprayer

John Deere is hoping smaller will be big when it comes to marketing self propelled sprayers.

The new 4630 replaces the 6700 model and will maintain the 72 to 88 and 90 to 120 inch, adjustable wheel spacings.

The suspension is a four link system with air ride that is capable of field speeds of up to 17 mph.

A 600 gallon poly tank is drained by a hydraulically fed centrifugal pump capable of rates of four to 95 gallons per minute or 40 gallons per acre on an 80 foot boom at 12 mph.

The cab has all the features of its big siblings with Greenstar, Autotrac and Commandview. The operator’s seat is tied to the controls.

The optional control gear includes a Starfire GPS feeding the standard Greenstar 2 1800 display or the upgrade to the 2600 display capable of running Auto trac steering systems, creating as-applied maps or using the Swath Control Pro system.

Booms come in a convertible 60 to 80 foot length that allows 20 feet of boom tips to be folded in for narrower operations. Tires come in 320, 380 and 420 sizes.

The machine is powered by a 6.8 litre Deere Powertech engine that produces 165 horsepower. A four wheel, hydrostatic transmission provides the motion. The 70 gallon tank should keep refueling down to once every 16 hours.
