Torqued up sprayer

Miller St. Nazianz has increased the ability of its 4000 series sprayers to handle tough terrain and large fluid loads.

The new 4215HT and 4240HT models are better able to handle hills and soft fields than their Miller predecessors. The company kept its standard 4215 but dropped the straight 4240 from its lineup.

To achieve the added torque on the 4215, Miller installed larger Poclain MS18 wheel motors and 00 cams on the HT version. The previous machine depended on MS13s.

Boosting the 4240’s drives are MS18 Dyna Plus units on the back, with either 00 or 02 cams. The 02 cams push an additional 13 percent of torque over the 00s.
