Deere header trailers
Frontier Equipment is offering a new line of combine header transports to address the needs of producers who must move their machines longer distances or on public roads where transporting intact harvest equipment is not an option.
The John Deere-owned equipment manufacturer’s two new units, the HT11 and HT12, will handle flex, draper and rigid headers, as well as corn heads.
Each comes in five models from 24 to 42 feet in length.
The HT11 is designed for shorter farm moves where licensing, brakes and lighting are not required. The HT12 is built for highway transport.
All rely on a tricycle front axle and a suspended rear axle for smoother trailing.
The HT12 has standard braking on one of its axles, with multiaxle braking available. In addition, the model has fenders and is designed to keep rocks and road debris from flying up into and onto the headers.
Mounts for the various headers slide for adjustment, allowing a variety of header designs and sizes to be carried.
