The series 10 plows have replaceable plowshares. The PC1072 field cultivator has a six-foot working width and 13 s-tine cultivator shanks and has optional tillage points.

More power, options for rotaries

New Holland is updating its new rotary combine line for 2009. The CR9070 combine’s New Holland Cursor 10 engine and the CR9060 combine’s Cursor 9 engine will increase in power over the 2008 models.

The CR9070’s engine will produce 420 horsepower at rated 2,100 r.p.m. For short periods, such as grain tank unloading, it will produce another 43 h.p. at 2000 r.p.m. giving the CR9070 a maximum power of 463 h.p.

The CR9060 combine’s New Holland Cursor 9 engine will produce 360 h.p. also at 2,100 r.p.m, with a boost of another 55 h.p. at 2000 r.p.m. giving the CR9060 a maximum output of 415 h.p.

The unload tube boot on Model Year 2009 CR combines has been redesigned to reduce the discharge auger height and improve the discharge pattern.

The unload tube is now available in 18 foot, 21 foot and 24 foot lengths. The machines were new to the market in the spring of 2008 and a small flaw was dirt entering the cab through the rear window during cleaning. A shield has been added to deflect dirt away when the window is opened.

High intensity lighting that improves header visibility and distance illumination has also been added to the options list for 2009.
