Bigger disc cutting
New Holland has released two new discbine heads for that company’s windrower line.
At 18 feet, the 770HD is the widest disc-cutter in the industry. The 750HD is a specialty grass seed harvesting cutter.
These two headers sport redesigned feed augers that reach across the width of the cutter head. The augers improve material transfer away from the cutter discs, once severed.
The 770HD can be matched with the 225 horsepower H8080 hay tool or the 225 h.p. HW365 Speedrower. The windrow is adjustable from 38 to 96 inches in width.

Durable hay cutters
Massey Ferguson has released two new rotary hay headers for the 9635 Hesston windrower. The pair are both 16 foot models, 9190 and 9192, and feature low profile cutter bars.
Branded the Razorbar, the cutter is durable and capable of cutting close to the ground with little plant damage. Hydraulic control of the conditioning rollers provides easy resetting between crops or fields. Compared to previous models, the speed of the cutter tips has been increased by 10 km-h. Cutting discs were also increased in size to 620 millimetres from 600.
