Rotor rake

Kuhn has released a new large capacity, twin rotor rake.

The centre delivery unit will turn and speed drying for high capacity haying.

The GA 7501 has a 24 1/2 foot width. The nearly 11 foot rotors are fitted with 11 tine arms, which are adjustable for building four foot, seven inch to six foot width windrows, allowing for a variety of large capacity baler sizes.

The tine height is field adjustable with a hand crank, so producers can move through different crop conditions without requiring tools for fine tuning the unit.

Boom and rate controller

The AgGPS EZ-Boom 2010 by Trimble Navigation provides flow control and automatic boom section control in a system that integrates with Trimlbe’s AGGPS EZ-Guide Plus or Field Manager display systems.

The EZ-Boom 2010 system allows farmers to control guidance, application rates and other precision ag functions in one package

When linked with EZ-Guide Plus or Autopilot systems, the system computes speed and coverage from GPS while automatically controlling flow rates and boom functions to avoid overlap.

The EZ-Boom 2010 system can also accommodate the addition of new boom sections to an existing rate controller.

The system can control a maximum of 10 boom sections at a time.
