REM Enterprises recently introduced a Delta Rotary Harrow. The harrow is a multi-purpose tool that can be used for several jobs around the farm, ranch, acreage or business. It’s available in five, six, seven and eight foot widths and attaches to any three-point hitch system.
It cultivates and harrows with one pass, eliminate puddles and ruts and breaks up tough soil. The harrow can be used to pull back built-up soil along fence lines, or for nursery weed control and landscape work.

Conditioner auger
MacDon Industries has released its A series of conditioner augers for hay and forage harvesting.
Available in pull-type and self-propelled header models, A series conditioner augers are designed for large commercial operations.
The machines offer improved cutting and conditioning performance plus a significant increase in ground speed.
Improvements on A series include adjustable conditioning, a heavy-duty cutterbar design and heavier construction overall.
The conditioners feature MacDon’s exclusive N-bar conditioner rolls that give operators several conditioning options ranging from kinking to gentle crushing action.
These conditioning options allow users to maximize hay and forage nutrient values.
The operator can also choose between close cut and longer stubble cutting lengths using the manual or optional hydraulic guard angle adjustments.
The conditioners use a new Z-shaped cutterbar, which incorporates rectangular reinforcement resulting in increased strength along both the horizontal and vertical planes.
In addition, MacDon’s poly feed pans reduce mud buildup, ensuring smooth crop flow and can be easily replaced if they are damaged by rocks or debris.
Pull-type models are available in 14- and 16-foot cutting widths.
The self-propelled models will be available in 14, 16 and 18-foot widths.
The SP header models can be mounted on MacDon’s new M series self-propelled windrowers.

Sprayer, spreader GPS
BoomPilot by TeeJet provides automatic boom section control for sprayers and spreader equipment and minimizes chemical use.
It uses GPS technology to identify the areas that have already been sprayed. When a section of the sprayer boom overlaps an area that has already been sprayed, BoomPilot automatically switches that boom section off. When a boom section re-enters the unsprayed area, it is automatically turned on again.
The boom automation system can be useful on point rows, curved rows and at the end of each pass. It saves time, reduces operator fatigue and reduces money spent on material inputs, fuel and labour.
BoomPilot has the ability to control as many as 15 boom sections, independent of one another. The product is an add-on device to existing GPS guidance systems or receivers and can be used in conjunction with most third party rate controls.
