Utility tractor
New Holland’s TDD economy utility tractor line has been upgraded.
TDD Series tractors feature suspended brake and clutch pedals, with the feel of the pedals similar to that of an automobile. Both braking and clutch effort has been reduced.
Power take-off operation is now with a single lever instead of a two-lever system. Cab noise level has been reduced from 86 to 80 decibels.

Tow behind mower
DR Power Equipment has introduced a tow-behind version of its field and brush mower, which can be used behind a utility tractor or all-terrain vehicle.
The mower has two engine options: a standard 13 horsepower unit or an optional 17 HP OHV engine. Both models include a remote control that allows the user to operate the throttle, start and stop the electric-start engine, and engage or disengage the mower blade from the towing vehicle.
The mower’s height can also be changed from five inches to 7.5 inches in 1.25 inch increments.
A 44 inch wide cut enables users to mow up to two acres of open meadow or pasture per hour. A shielded design protects the wheels, spindles, cables and belts from debris and cut vegetation to prevent tangling and obstructions.
The tires are sealant-filled to permanently reseal punctures. A wide rear discharge chute prevents clogging, even in tall field grass. An articulating hitch allows the mower to be offset from the towing vehicle.
Prices start at $2,399 US. For more information, visit www.drpower.com.
