Easy move auger
Buhler Manufacturing has introduced its new 16104 Backsaver auger. The auger, with a 16 inch diameter and 104 foot tube, has been in development for nearly four years.
The 16104 comes with standard equipment features most requested by farmers, including a swing away auger with a self-leveling hopper. Using the tractor hydraulics, the operator can raise and lower the auger from the cab, as well as lift the swing away auger in preparation for transport.
On the ground, the hopper can be moved back and forth using the auger-mounted hydraulic controls. This system removes most of the physical labour once required during grain handling.

The 16104 is equipped with safety lights and
spotlights to help with after-hours operation.
Clearance in the down position is 15 inches. Tube angle in the up position is 44 degrees. Tubes 1 and 2 are 10 gauge, while tubes 3, 4 and 5 are 11 gauge. Wheel track measured outside the wheels is 14.5 feet. Wheel track measured centre to centre on tires is 13 feet. Hitch weight in down position is 2,700 pounds. Overall weight is 13,000 lb. Minimum pto power requirement is 175 horsepower with 1,000 rpm pto.
