Weighing terminal

Mettler Toledo has a new unattended terminal for weighing vehicles at remote locations and transmitting the data to personal computers.

The unit fits well in applications where there are fewer than 100 trucks per day.

“Warehousing, manufacturing, utilities and any industry where commodity, vehicle and weights are the prime focus without the need for pricing or billed activities are excellent candidates for the UWT solution,” said Chip Ward, Mettler Toledo’s marketing manager.

A line of accessories is available, including an integrated kiosk-style ticket printer, intercom and thermostatically controlled heater.

High-performance grease

Petro-Canada’s new Precision grease is a line of high-performance multi-application greases designed to deliver improved resistance to water wash out, longer life under extreme conditions and superior shearing protection.

It is available in EP1, EP2 and Gold grades.

In high temperature and bearing life performance tests conducted by the National Lubricating Grease Institute, Precision grease lasted two to three times longer than several leading, competitive, premium, multi-application products, said Petro-Canada. It is one of the few greases whose performance surpassed the institute’s minimum requirements for the GC-LB rating.

EP1 is ideally suited for centralized lubrication systems serving heavy duty and general purpose bearings.

EP2 is a stiffer grease and provides wear protection in wet environments.

GOLD provides superior performance at extreme temperatures.

Energizing sprayer

The Agco Spra-Coupe 3640 offers the Energized Spray Process system.

ESP gives spray droplets an electrostatic charge, causing an attraction between plant and droplet, giving better coverage and less drift.

It uses standard nozzles at standard pressures and delivers a 40,000 volt-micro amp charge to the liquid before it reaches the nozzle. There are no special electrical wires or air compressor lines.
