Boom height control
True Boom is a mechanical boom height control system that automatically raises the boom to clear hills and then resets to search for and follow the contour of the field or to a set height.
The positive touch-down trigger points eliminate false readings associated with ultrasonic boom controls.
The system is designed to be less expensive than ultrasonic units.
The operator can pre-set the boom height with a centre rack height limit switch. The touch-down trigger rods also feature adjustable depths.
Each boom operates independently and can be overridden at any time by the operator. The boom height reset times are adjustable to match the travel speed and boom widths.
The system comes equipped with one touch-down trigger per boom side, but can be equipped with two per side.
An in-crop paddle trigger option will be available that will simply brush the surface of the crop to trigger without damaging the plants.
The True Boom Height Control Technology is now available to mount on existing Spray-Air Trident and Advantage Series Sprayers and Trident Boom packages for self-propelled field sprayers. It is standard equipment on boom widths from 120 to 132 feet on pull-type suspended sprayers, as well as on all new Trident booms for SP sprayers, and optional on all others.

Centre pivot system
Electrogator II from Reinke is a redesign of the original Electrogator, the world’s first reversible, electric-gear-drive centre pivot system.
The unit has been redesigned for increased durability, stability and tower strength, and more precise alignment.
The Electrogator II offers a single leg tower design, similar to Reinke’s most recent systems, but now with a C-channel, roll-formed single tower leg to strengthen the tower.
Reinke eliminated the cross braces and lengthened and widened the tower base and legs, making the system more stable. Its appearance is taller, wider and cleaner.
Span crown and the span’s centre of gravity were reduced to increase system strength and rigidity and to improve alignment and control.
The Electrogator II design applies to most new Reinke systems.
