Hair clipper
A new clipper is on the market for
cattle, sheep, horses, llamas, alpacas and dogs.
New Generation Clippers are marketed by Cee-Der Sheep and Livestock Supplies of Lethbridge, Alta. The company says the clippers are shorter, lighter and quieter than other clippers. They also run cooler because of a new air flow design.
There are seven blade combinations. The clippers come in three 110-volt models and a belt-battery powered model.

Pasture aerator
Aer Way has introduced a new eight-foot pull-type pasture aerator for tractors in the 35-70 horsepower range.
It features a roller angle adjustment for 2.5, five or 7.5 degrees of roller offset and a simplified single cylinder H-frame wheel lift.
The eight inch shattertine, set on 7.5 inch centres, fractures the soil sideways and downward to promote deeper root growth and increase yields, with minimum surface disruption.
For one-pass renovation and overseeding, the ground-driven roller can be set at a more aggressive angle to maximize soil loosening.
