Liquid filter
One Eye Industries has introduced the Filter Master, a device used to remove iron or steel contaminants from oil or other liquids.
It is a reusable, flexible, heat stable magnetic strip that sticks to the side of oil filters. The magnets attract metal contaminants and hold them to the side of the filter’s interior casing.
The manufacturer says removing metal filings from the oil can extend the life of the engine.
When it is time to change oil filters the Filter Master is removed and placed on the new filter.

Air cart
Flexi-Coil has introduced several new products for 1999, including the new 40 series air carts and the 1330 Plus air carts for row-planting operations.
There are two sizes in the 40 Series, 170 and 230 bushels.
Variable rate metering and the company’s FlexControl electronics let the operator set and change product rates from the tractor cab. The air flow design allows separate settings for each meter.
The unit also has a “priming” feature that allows the operator to start applying product before the seeding tool is moving. This is important for start-up in the middle of the field and for backing in to seed tight spots.
A new stairway improves access to tank lids.
Options include tire choices, a third tank, nurse tank and a 20 centimetre auger with optional brush flightings.
Air cart
The 1330 Plus air cart combines singulator accuracy with central fill efficiency.
It also has the FlexControl system. It displays such information as population rate at each row unit, tank levels, ground speed and area covered.
For farmers using precision agriculture applications, Flexi-Coil has a task controller that works with the FlexControl system to automate rate changes.

Sprayer
Fab Tec Manufacturing has introduced a new line of sprayers.
The XL series joins the company’s existing XR series. They come with 555 or 840 gallon tanks (2,519 or 3,813 litres) and the booms are 50 or 100 feet long (15 or 30 metres).
The company also has spray boom kits from 50 to 130 feet (15 to 39 m).
