Making hay
Vermeer Manufacturing has unveiled a one-step system designed to simplify baling and wrapping of high-moisture hay.
The Ensiler has an automated wrapping system built into the Vermeer 504 L-Series baler.
It is operated from the tractor seat using a single hydraulic lever. After the bale is formed, a hydraulically powered bale cradle extends to the back and turns the bale as it is being wrapped.
A swing-arm assembly revolves around the bale, stretching the film tightly to form an air-tight seal.

Grain equipment
REM Manufacturing has introduced two grain handling products.
The GTS 2085 conveyor and GTS 2000 grain drop are designed to handle grains and special crops quickly and gently.
The conveyor has an attached drive-over hopper, allowing grain to be dropped into the conveyor hopper and moved directly on a continuous belt into the conveyor tube.
The unit operates in-line with the tractor, allowing easy movement. It includes a ratcheting lock for raising and lowering the conveyor.
The GTS 2000 Grain Drop is a portable drive-over, high capacity belt transfer system that eliminates the need for dumping pits.
Both units use a 20-inch (50 centimetre) wide-ridged belt that curves inside the conveying tube. Both will move more than 8,500 bushels an hour.
They operate with an optional hydraulic or electric drive.
