Tine-replacement system

The Paddle by HCC Inc. is a tine-replacement system available for combine headers with wood bat and polytine teardrop reels. It is designed tomaximize harvest yields in short or sparse crops by lifting crop that would be missed by standard tines and feed it into the header.

A patented tine-mounting system allows fast, easy installation. Standard plastic tines can be replaced by removing one screw. On wood bat reels, a hole must be drilled for each paddle.

Paddles come in boxes of 10. Depending on reel size and tine spacing, three to six boxes are normally required for complete header coverage.

Welding generators

The Bobcat 250 and Trailblazer series of engine-driven welding generators by Miller Electric feature a fully enclosed case design.

The welding generators feature Xenoy protective armour to protect the front panel and controls.

The enclosed case design also reduces noise levels, making the machines approximately one-third quieter than previous models. They have removable service doors on both sides to allow for easy engine maintenance.

The units feature 10,000 watts of useable peak generator power and a 12-gallon fuel tank. Under a continuous load of 4,000 watts of generator power, the units can operate for approximately 14 hours.

For typical welding jobs, the Bobcat 250 offers a duty cycle rating of 100 percent at 250 amps and 25-28 volts. It features Miller’s exclusive Tri-Cor technology to improve welding output and reduce spatter when welding with E7018 stick electrodes. The Bobcat 250 is designed for Stick, MIG, flux cored and AC/DC TIG welding.

The Trailblazer 302 provides 20-300 amp DC output and 35-225 amp AC output, while the Trailblazer 275 offers 20-275 DC output.

Both units feature an ambient temperature rating of 40 C compared to the 30 C of many competitive units.
