Clawed loader

The Cat Claw by Westendorf Manufacturing is designed to grab materials for moving, loading and hauling.

The three-dimensional grab fork mounts on front-end loaders using a patented attachment that enables the user to mount or dismount the Cat Claw quickly and easily. It uses large V-shaped curved teeth that extend beyond the top of the bucket. By reaching out and clawing material into the bucket, it increases load capacity by as much as 200 percent.

The attachment uses dual hydraulic cylinders controlled by one lever. The jaws open wide enough to handle large round bales and can also handle trees, branches and fence posts.

Feed mixer

Kuhn Knight, Inc. of Brodhead, Wisconsin, has added a new family of single-auger, vertical mixers.

The new Vertical Maxx line features a single-auger design, planetary drive system, right-hand discharge and a narrower tread width. The single auger provides fast and thorough hay processing and uses less horsepower than twin auger vertical mixers.

The planetary drive system is proven and dependable for normal feed cycle applications. The right-hand discharge is more convenient when viewing feed discharge while operating tractor controls. The narrow tread width allows for feeding in tight feed alleys without running over feed.

The Vertical Maxx comes in 270, 350 and 430 cubic foot mixing capacities without extensions as trailer models.
