Tandem disk
The Case IH RMX340 and RMX370 tandem disk harrows can be used in row
crop or dryland environments.
The RMX340 seedbed tandem disk harrow is for light to medium-heavy
residue. The heavy-duty RMX370 creates a level working surface in high
crop production environments and dryland conditions.
The redesigned hitch has thicker walls and an increased section of pull
plates.
The RMX340 uses 20 inch blades set at 7.5 inch spacings to manage light

to moderate residue levels and prepare smooth seedbeds. For heavier
residue, 22 inch blades with nine inch spacing would be the choice.
The RMX370 all-purpose disk uses 24 inch blades with nine inch
spacings. Exclusive shallow-concavity blades on the front gangs provide
soil penetration, while minimizing back pressure and compaction.
RMX340 blades, mounted on 4.5 inch spools, apply 100-150 pounds of
pressure to slice through residue. RMX370 blades, mounted with six inch
spools, apply 165-200 lb.
With working widths ranging from 19 to 34 feet and transport widths
from 13 to 18 feet, RMX Series disk harrows use durable, heavy wall
front-to-rear tubing.
Working depth is monitored via a gauge viewable from the cab. Depth
adjustments are performed through a single point hydraulic control.
Infinitely adjustable eyebolts provide precise wing levelling, and fore
and aft levelling is performed using a standard mechanical turnbuckle
or optional hydraulic control.

New Gleaner
Gleaner’s new R65 and R75 combines feature an improved cab, controls
and monitoring system.
It has kept the natural-flow processing system with the transverse
rotor and the Cummins engine with high-torque split hydrostatic drive,
four-speed transmissions.
The new ComforTech cab has larger mirrors, a larger door and enhanced
lighting. The air suspension system seat is adjustable.
Frequently used controls are located on the new armrest console on the
right side of the operator seat and on the hydro control handle. The
heads-up digital display and B-post analog monitoring systems review
many machine functions, including shaft speeds.

Potato harvester
Lockwood has a new three-row potato harvester.
The 473H is a wheels-under machine. With the standard folding boom, the
harvester can be narrowed to minimize width for transport.
The harvester can be fitted with chain secondaries, Lockwood roller
tables, a variety of star and combination cleaning tables, full width
vine choppers, several fan systems for air cleaning, and various drive
and control options.

Sprayer nozzles
Greenleaf Technologies has a new nozzle for farmers who spray
acid-based chemicals such as potato desiccants, giving them multiple
uses from one set of nozzles.
Most spray nozzles are made from polyaecetyl plastic, but it is
unsuitable for acid-based chemicals because it breaks down quickly and
becomes brittle.
The AirMix AMCQ nozzle is made from polypropylene, an acid-resistant
plastic.
The AMCQ nozzles are available in six sizes: 110015, 02, 03, 04, 05 and
06. AirMix AMCQ are compact, low drift air injection nozzles.
