Combo-mulch ripper

The new Case-IH 6800 combo-mulch ripper combines a disk harrow and deep-tillage subsoiler. Designed primarily as a tillage tool, the 6800 has a caddy-cart design with underslung disk gangs, supported by a three-point hitch, and a rear-mounted subsoil ripper.

The ripper is a streamlined V-design, available in standard three-metre width and heavy-duty widths of three and 4.3 m. Standard shanks measure 50 centimetres. Heavy duty shanks are 61 cm. Shank spacing is adjustable from 40 to 101 cm, depending on the model. The disk gangs can be set at 14, 17 or 20 degrees, controlling how much residue is worked into the soil.
