Two-stroke engine
The new two-stroke Power Boost Tornado engine from Echo, Inc., for outdoor power equipment has the capability to reduce engine emissions 85 percent from the levels of just a few years ago, while improving fuel efficiency.
The Tornado sends a high-powered swirl of fuel and air into the engine, creating a whirlwind that mixes with the remaining exhaust from the previous power, the company says.
This vortex works to create a more complete combustion and improved salvaging resulting in less unburned fuel leaving through the exhaust.

Variable slope ignition timing continuously recalibrates the engine’s timing at starting speed, making it easier to start.
The system matches ignition timing to the engine’s rpm, providing quicker and smoother acceleration with improved combustion efficiency.
Echo’s 300 hours of certified useful engine life is the top rating of the United States Environmental Protection Agency.

Fork lift
Sellick Equipment has a new British-made telescopic fork lift with exceptional reaching capability.
The Teletruk is a 6,000 pound capacity industrial pneumatic tire fork lift truck that has telescopic boom technology instead of a vertical mast design.
The Teletruk’s reach allows it to load and unload a truck or rail car without having to change sides, the company says. The telescopic boom is designed to allow quick switching from one attachment to another.
The carriage has 111 degrees of tilt.
A diesel or liquid propane gas power plant is coupled to a fully hydrostatic drive system with torque converter response, providing the operator with the feel and control of conventional torque converter equipped machines. Operators can also engage a differential lock when ground conditions warrant.
If more traction is needed, the Teletruk is available in a full time four-wheel-drive model.
