Camrose Kwik Clip
A do-it-yourself fencing system has been developed by Arnold and Mark Scabar of the Camrose, Alta. area.
The patented Kwik Clip system uses spring steel clips to attach wire to steel rods that can be installed permanently or temporarily.
The system can be used with cattle, elk and bison and is also of interest to acreage owners who want an easy to install fence. Producers say it is cost competitive with wood posts and wire fencing. For more information phone 1-800-832-5707 or write to Box 50, Round Hill, Alta. T0B 3Z0.

Combine improvements
New Holland has introduced improvements to its Twin Rotor combine line, the TR 88 and TR 98, for 1997. The TR 98’s power is boosted to 270 horsepower and the 7.5 litre engines in both models are now air-to-air intercooled for improved efficiency. Radiator and fan size have also been increased.
The TR 88 has a grain tank capacity of 190 bushels and the TR 98 can hold 240 bushels. Cab controls have been changed or relocated to give the operator more convenience. Electrical switches replace levers to engage the thresher, header and unloading systems. An air ride seat is now standard, as is a buddy seat.
The combines come equipped with a header-feeder reverser that uses hydraulics to slowly move the header and feeder back and forth to remove plugs. A lateral float header with automatic height control is available to compensate for rough spots in the field.
