New tractor line
New Holland’s new 95-160 pto horsepower TM tractors have higher
horsepower than their predecessors, and new electronic engine
management on the two largest models.
Smart electronic engine management allows engines to increase
horsepower as the engine is lugged down during pto applications.
On the largest models, the TM175 and TM190, optional fully programmable
electro-hydraulics allow the operator to adjust timing and flow to each
of the remotes.

shift transmissions provide automatic shifting in the field and on the
road, as well as a programmable forward-reverse shuttle.
The new Headland Management System on the TM175 and TM190 allows the
operator to program up to three functions, then simply hit “instant
replay” when arriving at the end of the row.
The electronic draft control system lets the operator dial in the right
blend of position and draft needed for automatic linkage control.
The TerraLock system on all TM tractors with front-wheel drive offers
fully automatic front-wheel drive and front and rear differential lock
engagement. This gives full-drive capability through all four wheels
for more positive traction. A semi-automatic system is standard on
two-wheel drive models.

No-till air drills
John Deere has two new no-till air drills, the 1890 and the 1890
Central Commodity System.
The drills are available in 30, 36, 40, and 42.5 feet working widths
and are configured at 7.5 and 10 inch row spacings. A dual row spacing,
factory-installed air kit is also available that allows seeding of
small grains at 7.5 inches and row crops such as soybeans, milo or
sunflowers on 15-inch rows.
The drills come with 90 Series openers featuring a relocated seed boot
to improve depth control, penetration and seed placement.
A residue shield is now included, and improved spring pressure between
the boot and the blade helps to reduce residue buildup.
They feature adjustable and active-hydraulic down force on the openers
to improve penetration for varying soil conditions.
There is a new front caster wheel assembly with bolt-on spindles that
makes it easier to repair and replace spindles.
The 1890 drill is compatible with a tow-between 1910 commodity air cart
in sizes from 195 to 270 bushels, or a tow-behind 1910 cart in sizes
from 195 to 430 bu.
The 1890 CCS no-till air drill features the new Central Commodity
System that offers a central fill metering system, allowing for bulk
seed filling in a 70 or 100 bu. tank and then metering the seed to the
openers on the drill.
